THE VILLAGE

The Property is situated in the quiet, picturesque village of KIRKMICHAEL (Perthshire) in the Strathardle valley. There is a well stocked  & national prize winning shop with a post office, cash machine and a petrol & diesel filling station attached. For those who need to use the Internet and/or send Email, a link is available at the shop!     There are two local hostelries within walking distance.

The bungalow has fine views over the valley and lies on the edge of Bannerfield, where in 1715 the Earl of Mar gathered the local clans of the Southern Highland together to march against the English; hence its name.  It is a pleasant recreational area edging the River Ardle & in late August it is the venue for the Strathardle Highland Games.
